It is a title that surely will be played between these two. In Venezuela all go with Cabrera and in USA with Trout, but we have to be objective. Who is the best?

My Opinion:

Trout: Faster, better fielder, good homerun hitter, good AVG, young, better eye, better base stealer.

Cabrera: Power slugger, best AVG, one of the best HR hitter, game changer, he is the leader of his team. He can win the triple crown.

If cabrera wins the triple crown i think the discusion is over, else I think the Trout's season has more merit.

You're kidding right? Cabrera is on the verge of doing the impossible (winning the Triple Crown); he wins by a mile.

Josh Hamilton can finish with more RBI's and more HR's. I think Cabrera won't win the triple Crown. He has played all the games while trout played 21 less.

Would love to see Hamilton win the HR category, but will he even play the last weekend? The Rangers will probably have it all locked up by then. Since Hamilton loves to sit on the bench, I don't see him winning the HR title. I think Miggy wins the Triple Crown and the MVP in a landslide, especially if the Tigers get into the playoffs and Angels don't. I really hope you're correct about Hamilton though. I'm stuck with his HR future with no way to hedge it at this point. I had no idea they take those futures off the board so early in the season. Lesson learned.

Cabrera definitely has this thing locked down if Tigers make the playoffs

imo though Trout is obviously rookie of the year.

It's obvious that Trout'll win the rookie of the year and sooner or later he'll win the MVP.

Miggy wins (even though I'm a Tigers hater). Trout will get his chances later on.

Cabrera...and he wins Triple Crown --it shouldn't be close...I know Ted Williams won a Triple Crown and not the MVP, but times were different and he got shafted by a NY reporter who left him off the ballot
