I used to be a big fan of Goddell but not any more, he has allowed the NFL to become a complete joke. With all of the money they generate, they cannot take care of 100 guys? This is either strictly personal between Goddell and somebody or it could be a union busting type of deal which seems silly but anyway you slice the NFL is a joke right now. Sadly they will have just as many viewers next week.
What are the odds of all the sports related sites boycotting NFL action this wknd and watching NCAA for 12 hours on Saturday instead? thats pretty much what is needed to get the regular refs back, this is really getting too crazy to watch. If I shake my head any more while watching these games it's going to roll off my shoulders!

I may be in the minority but i support the owners in this case.
Most of these refs work 14 games per year , about half will get playoff assignments making it 15 games.
That's what you call a part time job. You dont get pension plans at many part time jobs. They trave 1st class and have more than generous expense vouchers on top of their very fair rate of payment.
