This happened in the past. And some SB paid both sides. Good publicity.

Payoff all tickets, than sue Roger Godell for damages.

What a joke man.
Spoken like a Jay Cutler lover.

No they should not, and no they will not.

And even if they did the sportsbook would do it for no other reason then an advertising expense for good publicity.

I read the Sportsbook.com is doing this and that Heritage is giving away a Bonus Play to all GB backers. Not sure if any of this is true, but thats what is going around

done for no other reason then publicity.
this makes them no better then any other book.

Heritage stole tens of thousands of dollars from a video poker player just last week, and sportsbook.com is the king of slowpays.

I will stick with Bookmaker and 5dimes who have not and will not refund those wagers. And I will not think less of them for not doing so.

It is not the sportsbooks job to subsidize the NFL for there piss poor officials.

This is an NFL issue, not a sportsbook issue.

I agree with what your saying about this being an NFL issue, but come on, Heritage is nothing but A+... its not nearly as clear cut as you are saying, and many people disagree with you on that...

regardless, if a book refunds GB backers, cool, I am happy for the players and I am sure they appreciate it... at the same time, there is a negative...

When a couple books did this for the Bradley Pacquiao fight, I thought it was a slippery slope. Here we are just 3 months later and I read 3 different threads about how books should refund the players bets... IMO thats so ridiculous. Like you said, they didn't have anything to do with the outcome... Now everyone feels entitled to it. Its going to happen again and again...

If next time Heritage doesn't bail out the losing side, they will piss people off... we live in an era where people feel entitled....

If I go to a poker table and some donk hits runner runner to beat me with crap cards, I don't think the casino should refund me. its how it works.

I guess my opinion is I understand its marketing, and would be completely okay with it if people understood it was a once in a lifetime refund.... to expect every time something goes horribly wrong just isn't right. its called gambling for a reason.
