Just curious how it is. I know they take American players.

Would Bovada be a better option?

I would like to play 2/4 or 3/6 limit - nothing crazy

Maybe some tournaments

Played lock. They are having payout issues. Try carbon poker, it's the most legit option right now.

i have done cake poker...i don't know which network that is.

the poker was decent but if you are looking for some limit, the pickings were very slim. Lucky to find one table at any given limit (if you want a full ring game).

payouts? you gotta ask someone that understands what a payout is...sorry i can't help you there....trust me i wish i could

Intertops is the only way to go if you want to get on the Lock /Revolution network. Simply put they will pay you the rest will sweat you. Lock poker varies but it can take 2 months or better to get paid, Cake poker is guaranteed no more than 2 checks per YEAR since it takes them 5 months to pay...

Americas Cardroom is the other option but limit games are few and far between unless there is a jackpot to hit.

BOVADA is a sponsor now so ill be nice and just say i dont like their software.........

Murph - I just think NL ring games are SO boring. I feel like I fold 80 percent of my hands. I am not a great player so I don't like playing QJ out of position and things like that. I will make the wrong choice 9x out of 10. I used to grind out a pretty good profit at Stars multi-tabling 3/6. I guess those days are gone.

Avoid Lock like the plague. Pay out issues across the network, customer service is pretty non existant and there are people that have had their credit cards hit with charges they didn't do. Appears to be an inside job or processor theft. If you absolutley must play there do it from Inter Tops only. Do a google search of Lock Poker Problems and get enlightened.

Carbon is still the old Merge network and i think they do exclude a few states...i never did like the Merge software and rarely played there.

If you dont have an acct at Intertops you may be out of luck as i think they are not taking new players from the US. but i dont know it for a fact.

Americas Cardroom is great but the action is a lil slow sometimes. you can bet sports right in the poker software also which i really like. They are actually BetCris so you know you can count on getting paid and they take all players..........

MUCH MUCH MUCH better. In fact its the nicest casino in Louisiana outside of LaBerge in Lake Charles.

By the way 1 day in the next few weeks id assume The Belle will announce they are closing their poker room....They have a BBJ of around $110K that they will have to payout when they close. If i hear a date ill post it. When they closed a few years ago they gave everyone seated at a table when the closing hour came an equal share as state law requires.. I got a seat about 6 hours before they closed but couldnt stay....sold my seat to a guy for $200!!

On another note....CAKE poker moved all their U.S. players to another site today. The new site is called Juicy Stakes poker. Its exactly the same as CAKE and im sure takes just as long to pay so be sure to stay far away from them. Ive been trying to reset my password so i can log-in to Juicy and see whats up but so far all ive gotten is 2 form letters from Juicy asking for info that i gave them in the 1st email i sent at 8.30am this morning, so its confirmed that Customer Service will still suck just like always..........
