Since when do the Cards not have to win??? Am I missing something or isn't every game a must win for Cards til the Wild Card game against ATL if they advance?

Dodgers and Brewers closest teams to St. Louis lets be honest they're toast. Astros last game at home owner flew in on his private jet to see the game.

The race is essentially over but the players respect carp too much to roll over in his second start. They know how much this means to him. He worked his ass off to pitch this year. No Freese,furcal,beltran....throw in kozma (he is hitting 300 last 20 or so though) and descalso, its a different offense. Craig has been hitting and so has molina but they have not been scoring runs.

I don't think the fifty win astros are too worried about fan appreciation night. Lol. They are probably mother fucking the fans every night. 50% of those guys won't be on the roster next year anyway.

I can guaruntee that whatever offense is out there, they will be giving 100% and carp will be giving 100%. Means a lot this time of year vs arguably worst team talent wise ever. They might be looking to stretch carp out also to get him ready for po and give much needed rest to bp.

Your right. Bud Norris is sick at home too. Weak cardinal line up.

Probably $857.53 and a snickers bar on Astros vs $5,000,000 on Cardinals

Ya but it's one of those King size Snickers :)

I actually have STL in a parlay with NYY who already won. After seeing the lineups I played HOU +1.5 and am taking a free shot at the middle. GL to us.

Throw them a bone? at this level the only bones bein thrown are at strippers after the games! Ill take cards here and im a philly fan and thats tough to do. The cards will play behind carpenter and whats the average age of the astros 19? well see but im on Cards.

Great call DB... I'll bet it feels good to DOMINATE a dog play like this and not have to sweat any brutal beats like Dunn's HR the other night or the Braves' walkoff last night (sorry for reminding you haha)... Keep up the great work!

Nice work. Like I always say, it's easy to cover the +1.5 when your opponent doesn't score. Those are the best. :toast:
