I imagine there's some good people watching at those events! Probably a few fights in the crowd as well!

it's an amazing experience to be honest...you can see more on TV obviously, but it's something that you need to experience if you enjoy the UFC. I'd get there early, go to the weigh ins, to the fan expo....UFC always puts on a good show.

I've been to a lot more Strikeforce events, but attended both the UFC events in San Jose...ufc 139 was the one with shogun vs. henderson...hands down one of the top 5 sporting event experiences I have had the privilege to attend thus far

Didn't like it, don't forget they fight in an f'n cage lol. Wasn't really considering that before I went, had 100 level seats but still couldn't see much, ended up watching the big screen the whole time.

Never been, sure you'll have a blast though - enjoy!

Thanks , montreal is a fun city regardless so should be a good time . Last time we were there my buddy got the spins while getting a lap dance. Needless to say his night wasn't as fun as the rest of ours

If you've never been it'll be cool but not really worth the $ unless your a huge fan.

Obviously in combat sports we're mostly paying for the main event. In boxing that lasts almost an hour potentially, in UFC it can sometimes last a lot shorter.

Havent been to a fight in years.... last fight I was at I think was UFC 32. Lots of fun but easy to miss the action, wrong angle and when they are tied up on the ground its hard to see unless your close up. I think boxing fights are a lot more entertaining in person but UFC is still exciting

Yeah, just a bunch of normal, everyday, down to earth folks.....

lol....Depends on the city probably. Place like Montreal Id think a lot more normal than say like Miami where it is probably tons of tatted up cuban dudes thinking if they don't see blood in the fights they're gonna have to do it themselves.

What a great city. First place I ever drank lawfully. And seeing GSP there will be amazing, i'm sure.

Yeah, I've been to a few. The UFC is really good at interacting with their fans. A lot of the fighters will be in attendance and during intermissions and before the event, I think they're told by the boss man (Dana) to walk through the crowd and greet/photos/autographs. I took 4 younger guys (10-15 years old) and a couple of buddies to the last event (Rampage vs Jones) here in Denver. We got to meet a bunch of fighters like Brendan Schaub, Duane Ludwig, Shane Carwin, Urijah Faber, and then Dana himself. All good people. I would suggest getting to the event early as someone already said. Also, unless you have the best seats, as most have said, you can't really see much. But there are good screens all over with the PPV coverage in the arena. I've been to a bunch of local shows too and I typically don't even try to watch through the cage at those events - just watch screens. Have fun.

I'm sitting 14 rows from the cage . Hopefully won't have to watch the screen but if I do oh well. The atmosphere for gsp's return in Montreal will be out of this world I hope. Either way Montreal for a few days is fun in my books
