What happens if Baltimore and New York tie for the AL East?

its a one game playoff to see who wins the east. home field is by head to head record (they are 9-9 vs each other this yr, then it goes to division record), which balt would win, so they would host the 1 game playoff to determine who wins east and whose in wild card game

That game looks fairly likely. I think Pettite would pitch for NYY in that game Thursday and if NY loses the division to Baltimore, they have to play ( Oakland ? ) Friday ( I think in NY). Sabathia would have to pitch that on short rest.
