Could be a 15-0 Night for Under.......seriously.
Actually, the great asterisk better, GAC, had the Met game over 6 1/2 for 200 million asterisks! Not sure where he got the line because they are very secretive in asteriskville.

Let me say something first and foremost: This is actually a huge deal. Trust me, nobody studies baseball over/unders more than I do, and I think I have proven that here on a daily basis with my thousands of words of original writing every single day. With that close examination of the schedule comes paying attention to the little things, such as the few nights where this is an obnoxious amount of overs compared to unders, or vice versa.

That being said, THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE IN MY YEARS DOING THIS. This is just one of those fascinating things that requires a ton of attention because it's so rare. Trust me. I mean, it's even tough to recall a day where every single game was an over or every game was an under in a SHORTENED schedule (Even as few as 7 or 8 games). I assure you that if this has ever happened before, it's been at least a few years. As I've stressed several times throughout the year, the Law of Averages exists much more than you might think, so for something like this to happen on a full 15-game schedule, it's truly mind-boggling, and I appreciate you, Coolie, for pointing this out. I thought I might be one of few people who noticed this, so I'm glad to see maybe a significant number of others also realized what took place tonight.

Yes, technically one of the games was actually a push (Dickey vs Turner), but for the under to go 14-0-1 in one night on a full schedule... I can't stress it enough, we'll probably never see something like this again for at least a few years, if not more. Unbelievable stuff

It's very unfortunate this thread has already fallen down the page and isn't really being acknowledged, so I'll bump it up.

Some of you out there really need to appreciate the fascination of this oddity that occured last night. This WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN FOR YEARS - AT LEAST. Do you understand? When a FULL-GAME SCHEDULE in any sport completely goes one way (Well, 14-0-1 of the way), it's mind-boggling. I study over/unders in every sport, although baseball is by far my No. 1, and in my years doing this, this has NEVER happened in any sport when every team was on the schedule. It's the equivalent of seeing a rare shooting star. It's actually MORE RARE THAN WINNING ANY LOTTERY. It's more rare than being struck by lightning!

This is one of those things, in my opinion, that needs to be appreciated by all. If you're seeing this for the first time, just soak it all in and appreciate it. That's all I ask. It's always interesting when something happens for the first time in a several-years' span, and it could be the only time we see it this decade. Just take a step back, note it and appreciate it.

No sense on continuing to state the obvious. Obviously its uncommon for all 15 games in one day to finish under the total. Today is a new day with money to be won. We all know it happened and as gamblers, most dont want to harp on what happened yesterday unless you are a baseball historian. BOL to you.

You missed the point. When/If something like this ever happens again in ten or so years down the line, in ANY sport for that matter, countless people will be thinking, "When was the last time, if ever, that this happened?" That answer is October 2, 2012. You just have to appreciate the significance and oddity of it. Maybe it's just me being too much like Tim Kurkjian but I thought this whole moment was incredible.

Hmmm did that one go down to 7? I know for at least most of the day, Iwakuma vs Haren was 7.5, but I didn't check before gametime

it might have, thats why i said it was a push for me. not sure what the original line was or the majority but i got at 7. either way, it definitely wasnt over. i bet 5 unders yesterday and won 4 and pushed 1. took a bunch of unders again today.
