Anyone here ever have testicular cancer, hernias or appendiciti

I'm going to the doc if this pain doesn't go away soon but I'd like to hear some opinions.

I got this pain in my testicle/lower abdomen area. I did carry something heavy last week that I think might be the cause of this. I really hope this is nothing and goes away on it's own but it's been a few days already. Roughly since last Wednesday or Thursday.

If it's your appendix, you will know, trust me. Proally a hernia, go get it checked

I had hernia surgery back in Feb. I noticed a bulge next to my testicles so I went to the doc. He immediately said it was a hernia and told me to take care of it or I would wind up in the emergency room.

It was the first time I'd ever had surgery. I was scared but it went very well. They knocked me out and did the surgery laproscopically (3 small incisions and a robotic arm & camera). When I woke up, I felt fine but I they made me stay in the recovery room until I was able to pee. Didn't have much post op pain (never took the pain meds they gave me) and went back to work the next day.

If you have a hernia make sure they do the laproscopic surgery. I've talked to guys who had the old style surgery with a big incision and it sounds much more painful.

The next day back to work? That sounds good. Did you see a bulge slowly build or was it immediate? Also did your testicles hurt from it?

My step father had testicular cancer.

I had inguinal hernia surgery in February 2004. My right ball was bigger than a tennis ball, no joke. I thought I had cancer and was too scared to go see a doctor. It finally got so big I went in and they did surgery right away. It was tender for a couple of weeks and the first two or three days were extremely painful but it really is nothing to worry about. They installed some mesh and I've been good ever since.

had appendectomy 40 yrs ago. very sick and very painful but pain didnt go down to the testicles.. scared hell out of me. thought i was diein from alcoholism.lol

Bulge that slowly built up. Never felt any pain, but I found it early. The doctor said if I let it go, it would eventually get so painful that I would have to go to the emergency room and get immediate surgery. Hernias are pretty common especially in men; doctor knew what it was right away.

Just go take care of it. Does you no good to sit around and worry about it.
