Never had a SUV and always drove a small car. Which one is the most reliable. Want to spend under $35,000 with all the bells and whistles (great entertainment center, GPS, rear camera etc)

A Denali with all the bells and whistles will be around $50K list, maybe get them down to low $40's but no way under $35k.

I love the look of the new 4-runners and should be in your price range. Hands down way better than the Kia but also more expensive.

New Explorers ride less like a truck with the new body style and should also be in your price range. Some of your selections are more of a crossover like a RAV4 so not super easy to compare.

Good luck!

Nissan Murano, a cross-over that rides like a luxury car

I think it has the Maxima's platform

spacious, smooth, comfortable, quite and fast

my daughter loves her car (so do I)

If you want gas millage get the Nissan Rogue, about the same size as the Murano, but 10 mpg better

I have been looking to replace my Tahoe that I totaled over two years ago. The brand new Tahoes have gotten very expensive. Chevy doesn't do any dealer discounts anymore on that model and no factory rebates. Ever since the country bailed out these dealerships they downsized from having a dealer in every city so the amount of cars that sit on lots don't get out of hand and customers are able to play one dealer against another to get a deal done. When I bought my Camaro the one I wanted was on a lot 60 miles away and the dealerships were all buddy-buddy when they made a trade of vehicles back in the day usually one dealer would get fleeced and forced to take some custom car in return in a horrible color and ugly add ons.

I never understood why some people buy these huge SUV's unless they have a big family or for work.

Terrible on gas....

Physical appeal. If gas mileage was our only priority with buying a car we would all be driving around in 2 door compacts. If I am going to drive something for 5+ years and shell out my hard earned money on it better something that appeals to my eye.
