CLEARWATER, Florida -- On October 4, 1983 Hooters opened the first location in Clearwater, FL. The restaurant now boasts over 430 locations in 28 countries around the globe, and this Thursday the chain will be celebrating the 29th year of food and fun. In recognition of this milestone, all customers who dine in at Hooters on Thursday can get 20 boneless wings for $9.99.
"For 29 years, we have been giving guests a place to relax, forget their problems and enjoy great food served up by beautiful Hooters Girls," stated Dave Henninger, CMO Hooters of America, LLC. "This unique formula will never get old, and is the reason that Hooters ranks as one of the most recognized brands in the industry."
Over the past 29 years, the Hooters brand has become a pop-culture icon.
