Is it ever a sharp play to bet -7.5, +6.5,-3.5, +9.5 etc..

Do you always buy the half point in this case or do you just go with the set number?
I already know the answer when it comes to teasers.
This is just on the subject of straight wagers.

My local only charges 10 cents to buy a half pt. So on/off 3 and 7 almost always in NFL and sometimes in college.

I always felt in nfl 3 pts meant more than in college.. but I would prolly by to 7 and 3 but the 9.5 nothing needed prolly.

Can you buy a full point for 20 cents to pass through the 3 ?

I mean make a +2.5 into +3.5 for -130

or

a -3.5 into a -2.5 for -130

if so do it on every NFL game, you'll win
