Washington Nats: 98-64
St Louis: 88-74

Why won't Nats kick off the play offs at home?

Shouldn't they start Playoffs at home & have the Home Field advantage like the NBA & NFL? :think2::think2::think2:

they changed it this year for the first time in the first round. The best-of-five will be a 2-3 format unlike the 2-2-1 format in the past

Because baseball seems to have really difficult time getting it right.

reduce travel
because the end of the season + possible tiebreaker game + wildcard game + division series
could have a team playing in 4 places in 5 days and the thought was the wildcard game winner would win and play the next game at home

it's stupid IMO.

Exactly, they cannot get it right. Shorten the damn season and do your playoffs correctly.
