The Twitter community followed the action as events unfolded over the weekend with fingers crossing in cyberspace around the world before some last minute results, including a 90th minute equalizer from Jose Fonte in Southampton's 2-2 draw with Fulham, made him a winner.
There were an incredible eight draws from the 12 games with several games not decided until the dying minutes, which must have kept the winner on the edge of his seat.
The Twitter account has since been removed, causing some conspiracy theorists to suggest the winner was an under-age 16-year-old who would not legally be allowed to claim his winnings.
