OK fellas. told you that I ran into some money.. Well it is a shade under 91K sitting in a brokerage account.

I have shares of --

Franklin Templeton Founding Fund
Lord Abbett Fundamental Equity
Lord Abbett Diversified Income
Putnam Diversified Income Trust Class C
Wells Fargo ADVTG C&B Mid Cap Value

this is found money..

I am thinking of taking 45K of this and going very aggressive somewhere

Let's hear what you would do with 45grand

Do you have an advisor on the account?

If you doing it your self, sell the C share mutual funds right away....your paying a 1% trail on them.....

A trail is commission to the advisor...C share mutual funds pay the advisor 1% per year for the period you own the fund. Could be refereed to as a sales charge or sales load.

If your going to do it yourself, I would transfer the account to an online brokerage account, IE tdameritrade, scottrade, etc...much cheaper.

If the broker is actually giving you advice, it could be well worth the 1% you're paying to avoid taking advice from the internet. Just a thought.

Not sure if I want to do it myself.. I have no idea about stocks.. He said I could do whatever I want with the money. I can move to something more aggressive or leave it where its at, or move to he said if i like apple i could put it in apple. or whatever i was interested in.. I was thinking of moving like 11K into something really aggressive or with some crazy rate of return. Just try to really hit the lottery with something nutty.. But I really have no clue.

No investment recommendations given...but why pay 1% to buy and hold a mutual fund...buy a cheap index fund or a no load mutual fund. And if your going to pick and chose your own stocks, it will surely be cheaper with an online brokerage account than it will be with an advisor.

I would definitely fire the advisor and move to an online brokerage. If the advisor hasn't talked some sense into you with these funds you are holding, he/she isn't right for you. Then again, they are making $ off of you without having to do anything either. Any advisor that says you can put it into whatever you want isn't doing you any justice. Why Apple?

Seriously if you are looking to 'BLOW" $11K cash it out and go to Vegas or somewhere exotic and bet like a fool. That's what you are going to do trying to find a get rich scheme in the stock market. The market takes patience and a lot of know how. Sure some people get lucky once in a blue moon but people that do what you are trying to do, lose 99.9% of the time and the fat cats get fatter.

If it was my 91K, I would be so out of those funds and diversified into good quality companies paying a dividend and have my own form of a mutual fund without paying anyone any % of trail or fees to manage my funds.

My name is Bozomitu Daniel,35 years, from Romania.I have a very innovative and profitable project. An online sportbetting game without sport, with a jackpot, like lottery and a lot of small prizes.Daily.Beauty of this game:the jackpot will attract more players, daily, that in turn will increse the jackpot and so on.Also, small winners wil promote for free.I intend to sell 700 shares, from 2000,in advance by notary public.Price 1000 euro/share(for first 2-3 shares 50% discount).Profit:for every 1000 daily players, the profit will be 182.5 euro/share/year.In other words every 1000 daily players will increase the jackpot with 1000 euro and the yearly profit with 18.25%.I intend to start with 10 000 players and EVENTUALLY keep at least that number, for few weeks until fast natural grow occur. But i think by the end of this year we'll reach, one million daily players. The value of one share at that point, will be 182 500 euro/year!For only 1000 euro investment. For fast payment by Western Union, contact (email removed)
