Work more, make more money, keep more of the money I make, spend more time with my wife and kids, drink less because I would not have to numb the pain of my losses and sleep at night.

Why do I gamble again?:think2:

everything in life is a gamble of sorts.

cross the street, there is a 1 in a million chance you get hit by a car.

have a simple surgery like a gall bladder removed there is a 1 in 250,000 something goes wrong, and you die

buy stock in your 401k, there is a gamble it goes down in value.

get married..................well, piss we all know the gamble there.

There will always be gambling.

I have never understood my people view betting on sports something that is wrong or shouldn't be done, when so much of what we do in life is a "gamble" with much larger stakes, in many cases.

What would happen to the school systems? I mean all that Lotto money supports the schools, right?

This would be a real problem for me. How would I replace the juice of gambling?? No more Vegas? No more poker ? This may sound shallow but my life would be miserable without gambling. Just being real. Ya I would spend more time with my family and have more money but I would not be happier...

Please don't ever let this happen

The same is true for cats when they cross the street, does that mean they are gamblers? When a mosquito lands on you there is a chance he'll be smashed to death, does that mean it is gambling?

Being able to understand the probabilities and how to best manage the possible outcomes is what matters. And if people hadn't discovered those things, we wouldn't have survived

If there was no gambling then it would probably end very badly for me i'd find myself barracaded in a motel with three hookers and a shotgun

There would be no stock market or business. Everything to do with capitalism involves risk and reward. If there was no risk in the world, I'd help start a revolution, and lay it all out. So I'd be creating my own gamble.

I wouldn't even want to think that could happen. Watch no sports and be bored as hell
