I don't know what it is with Cincinnati teams, we keep around the shittiest of shitty managers/coaches. I can see why Marvin is here, ole' Mikey boy can tell him to jump and Marvin ask how high?

No clue why Dusty is around, he proved in this series he can't manage. Love how he pinch hit for Stubbs in the 8th, but had him playing the last 3 months! WTF. Frazier and Heisey should've been playing the whole series, old man Rolen was great, but not no more. Dusty runs these old fucks to long, and runs the young pitchers to long also

Latos should've started yesterday ahead of Leake. I would have went for the knock out, and if it failed, worry about that then.

Just had some chick interviewed on the news saying how AMAZING Dusty is as a manager. If I had been around and heard her say that, i would have punched her in the face@)

Well , the puzzling thing here is cueto's oblique injury.

You don't get an oblique injury on one play or all of a sudden like a sprained ankle or knee injuey , they had to already know he was damged goods.

Now i realize that didnt cost them the series b/c they still won the game he left , but if wer'e talking firing , that was a funk-up.

cueto doesn't take care of himself. I seen him at a local bar downtown here one night, and the man can drink. Make Vejo look like a light weight

How can the general public see that he blows, but ownership can't? There is no way they bring him back, no way. We need Pete Rose

Dusty would get outcoached by a high school coach. He is so overrated as a manager.

I think getting rid of a guy at this point where they have been building towards being an up n coming team and they are still very young for next season would be a mistake.. these guys trust him and they have won plenty for him.. I think next year they break the hurdle of this and get through to the championship series'

I'd say Jockerty, not Dusty, is making the majority of the decisions for the Reds. Reds couldn't get the big hit when they needed it all year, same with the post season. Seems they left over 50 men on base over the 5 game series with the Giants. Reds need a leadoff man in the worst way and move Phillips down in the lineup. Reds have too much of a verteran club to change managers after 97 wins. Dusty will be back if Jockerty wants him.
