I am still looking over the 2 games for today and will post later this morning any play(s) I may have. As a reminder, if you play NBA Pre Season games and are interested I have a thread in the NBA forum.

Good luck today!

Just a few interesting tid-bits for Game #1 this afternoon:

Baltimore @ NYY

Including the playoffs, Baltimore is 17-3 in extra-inning contests this year. All three losses have been to the Yankees.

New York (245) and Baltimore (214) were the top two teams in the major leagues in home runs during the regular season.

During the regular season, the 32-year-old struggled versus Baltimore, going 0-2 with a 6.38 ERA in three starts. Sabathia has dominated the Orioles over his career as he's posted a 17-4 record and 3.07 ERA in 26 outings.

The Orioles improved to 31-10 in one-run games this year, including a 2-1 mark in the series.

Road team is 14-8 in Bronx-O's games this season;

Hammel is 0-1, 4.15 in four starts vs Bronx this year.

Sabathia is 3-0, 1.65 in his last four starts, lasting 8+ innings in all four; he is 1-2, 5.00 in four starts vs Orioles.

Despite the bad media reports on the Struggles Of Alex Rodriguez. Curtis Granderson has been even worse thus far in the series. Rodriguez is 2-for-16 with nine strikeouts and Granderson 1-for-16 while fanning nine times.

Play #1

Baltimore @ NY Yankees

Pick: Props Baseball 6115 BAL M.Reynolds total bases -120* vs NYY A.Rodriguez total bases (Fixed Price) (5 units)

I am playing a prop in the first game today. We have a immediate advantage here due to Arod NOT in the starting line-up for game #5. Mark Reynolds is batting 7th in the Baltimore line-up. I don't see how this line doesn't go against the play as we get closer to gametime so if you are going to play it get you wager locked in.

Most books will cancel this play unless both players start the game.

MOST TOTAL BASES Single=1base, Double=2bs, Triple=3bs, Homerun=4bs. HITS ONLY. Props are based on action not listed pitchers.Game must go 9 full innings or 8 1/2 if home team is winning. Extra innings count on wager. Both players must start for action.

Thats not correct with my book and most books. The rule of thumb is Baltimore Orioles at New York Yankees - American League Division Series Game 5 - J.Hammel & C.Sabathia must start for action

The other day a prop was listed which included Brandon Belt, who didn't start the game and the prop was NOT cancelled. As long as the listed pitchers start you have action.

Respectfully, disagree with you on this as I have checked several books specifically 5Dimes and SBG and both state clearly that both players must start for bet to have action. Where did you place this bet"?

This.

Here's what most will say:

* Note: Single=1,Double=2,Triple=3,HR=4.Game must go 8½ innings if home team is winning or 9 innings if road team is winning for action. Extra Innings count. Game not completed=NA action..Both Players+ listed Starting Pitchers must start for action

First 5 inning lines are graded at the end of the 5th inning. All 5 inning wagers have action at that time, regardless whether the game is completed. The following propositions have action at the time they occur, regardless whether the game is completed or official: 1st 5 inning wagers, team to score first, 1st inning wagers or any wager involving a team or player to achieve an outcome first. The following propositions will be graded NO ACTION if a game does not go 8½-9 innings and is an official completed game on that day: team statistical match-ups, player match-ups (including total bases), team total runs, H-R-E wagers, or any wager involving an over/under format.

I WILL GO AHEAD AND CANCEL THIS POSTED WAGER DUE TO THE CONFUSION AND THE DIFFERENT RULES AT DIFFERENT BOOKS. I WILL HAVE ANOTHER OFFICIAL PLAY ON THE GAME MOMENTARILY.

Well, sorry for the confusion. Below is my next favorite proposition. I am playing a prop with this game because I just can't get a solid read on either the side ot total and I feel the props are much stronger.

Game #1

NY Yankees @ Baltimore

Pick: 10/12/12 5:00pm Props Baseball 6114 NYY M.Teixeira total bases -110* vs BAL M.Wieters total bases (Fixed Price)

Matt Wieters is batting .111 versus Sabathia in 18 plate appearances.

BOL today.
