PLAYOFFS (7-13)(-6.83 units)

Made a little bit of a comeback over the weekend. Plenty of time go get those units back.

Detroit -180 vs NY Yankees (five units)……………Three units is the largest amount I laid this year in MLB. I may be throwing money away, but this has got to be as close to the “L Word” as you can get. I never play these odds on a straight bet, but I am here. There is no need to explain this one. I will be real depressed if this one loses. That being said watch the Yankees pound them tonight. Sure the Yanks have talent and anything is possible. For those who say there is value getting the Yankees at this price, that may be true, but there is also value in the $3 powerball ticket I just purchased. I am still waiting for that one to win. My nerves will be going tonight that is for sure. These bets always scare me to death. It looks like you can put a million dollars on this one.

Not going to screw with the over/under of seven. Hard to say how many Detroit will score tonight and they Yanks could always score one or two.

Good Luck Everybody!

FIRST HALF RECORD (162-155)(+10.53)
SECOND HALF RECORD (61-61)(-8.07)*

Here's my question: Why should I choose Detroit? Just short quick points...I'm not asking you to do a lot of write-up for me. What are some short reasons why you feel this is "close to the L word"?

I think it's a winner Mark, not sure Yankees have any thing left. Will the slumpers come out if their slump against Verlander? Prob not

Sorry did not see this until now. Obviously nothing is a lock. But when you look at Verlander vs ICE COLD bats of the yankees and it going back to Detroit, it was just hard to imagine Detroit losing that game unless Verlander was out pitched and shut out the Tigers. I figured I might have to sweat it out. It is never as easy as it looks. Even if I would have lost, I would not have been sorry for making the bet and laying that much juice.
