Amazing movie. Affleck's acting was great but his legacy is definitely going to be as a director. I have never felt so much suspense during a movie that I know the ending to. The attention to detail is incredible.

The Town was a great flick. I didn't like Argo nearly as much. Two out of four stars for me.

No, I'm serious. I don't mean that in a bad way. Canada risked the lives of numerous Canadians by issuing passports to non-citizens. What about the real Canadians who needed to get out of Iran after this whole thing? Do you think the authorities just waved them through after it became public knowledge what the Canadian government had done? It was a huge risk and one that the government here shouldn't have taken, in my opinion.

Thousands upon thousands of Canadian lives were risked in order to save a handful of Americans. Does that seem like a good idea to you?

Solid movie. Affleck definitely a talented director. Will get some awards buzz but will wait to see the other major contenders.

I'm more of a documentary and foreign language film buff.

Right now my two favorites of the year are Beasts of the Southern Wild and Searching for Sugarman.
Both raw but so well done with a nice emotional punch.

The movie made it clear that the last of the Canadian diplomats were out of Iran before the ruse was discovered.
