That's a cynical outlook!! I know there is some truth to that, though. LOL I hope the Cards are better enough to overcome the little helper nudges to the Giants. I'm not that cynical, but I know stuff like that happens at times.

I never thought STL would of lost this game. Hats off to Zito and SF fans, they get at least a game 6 and maybe a 7. Gong back to SF should be a big momentum shift in this series for San Fran, but with the way the Giants have played at home this year, maybe it's not an advantage to the Giants.

Gmen had to win tonite. Dont underestimate baseball need to stay relevant...next game would not be till wednesday if cards finish things too quickly. Sucks to think like that but in the end the mlb is still a business.

It will also benefit MLB for this series to go seven and not have to lose any TV advertising revenue. They already lost some due to the Yankees fiasco.
