I dont want to argue about who you think is the best QB in the NFL.

Just take in your mind(whoever you think is the best QB in the NFL) and put the best QB in the NFL on say the Cleveland Browns or whatever team you think is the worst team in the NFL.

How much does the worst team in the NFL improve?

Does the worst team in the NFL get playoff good if the best QB in the NFL goes to the worst team?

Now lets take whoever you think is the worst starting QB in the NFL and put him on whatever team you think is the best team in the NFL.
How much does this worst QB in the NFL bring down the best team in the NFL?

Would the worst team in the NFL with the best QB in the NFL beat the best team in the NFL with the worst qb in the NFL?

Great Question.

The problem in most cases is that there are a lot more Pieces to the Puzzle than just the QB.
If you don't the Talent around you, doesn't really matter who's the QB.

Will they be better ?? Probably better .. takes time too.

Look at the Broncos ... * Not the worst Team last year. but didn't have a "Great" QB ( Tebow )
They brought in Manning... and it took some time for it to work.

The other Players had to catch up and learn Manning style Football. And they had/have the pieces to do it.
Still... it took some time for it to all Gel together.

Now when you go the other route... Worst QB to the Best team... That just won't work IMHO
Yeah you have the other pieces... and "Maybe" that bad QB gets a little better... But you just took away a Great QB that can run a Offense... can throw TD's... can read the Defense, etc...

Very hard question to answer....

this question is almost impossible to answer....teams are made differently.

Let's assume (like you said not arguing best/worst QB and team) the worst QB is Tebow and the best Team is SF. I think SF will still be very good because of their game planning and defense.

Now if you said GB was the best team then I don't think they will be that great because passing is such a huge part of their offense.

This question depends on the strengths of a QB and the strengths of a team. If you throw Cam Newton on the Packers vs. Matt leinart on the Packers, i'm not sure Newton does much better.....but I'd rather have him over Leinart 9/10 times if they are my only two choices in a draft.

Look at Indy when they LOST Manning.

That is kinda the same thing isn't it?

They went from a 11-5 or 12-4 type team to a 3-13 type team

peyton manning's situation is probably the best example....but slightly misleading, the colts lost more than just manning......and denver was already a playoff team (haha) before he got there.

If you put the worst QB on the best team, wouldn't that team just bench him and go to their #2 guy ?

It depends on the offense you are having the QB run and how much timing and precise route running is a factor in the QB's success. In Green Bay Brett Favre always had a revamped and retooled WR core because Brett was gunslinger and if you got open he would find you. Where as Peyton Manning and Tom Brady are more rhythm QB's and they need to know exactly where a WR is going to be. This is why Chad Johnson didn't gel with the Pats but he would be a fit under Favre. Eli Manning is more of a gunslinger type as well and I think Drew Bress and Aaron Rodgers are more of a hybrid rhythm/gunslinger QB's because they move around in the pocket more and toss the ball around from multiple arm angles.

Drew Brees has proven he can dominate while playing for different teams.

Im not so sure Brady or Rodgers could do the same if moved....

LOL... I remember a trade offer but don't recall the details.

It definitely worked out for you though.

I'm about to shake things up out of desperation.

It's now or never...

If you put Tom Brady (best qb) on the cleveland browns (worst team), they would instantly become a playoff team. So i think thats your answer
