San Francisco hits the ball well, 3rd in the league in hits. Zito has been pitching well lately with a 1.74 ERA while Verlander has been outstanding with 0.74 ERA, just keep in mind the Yankees couldn't hit the ball at all even with the series on the line, it showed Yankees were a bad match up for the Tigers. San Francisco is a much better match up for Detroit almost even in Offensive walks & K's, Defensively even as well. Detroit may be showing a little rust after the long break they had. Look for San Francisco to hit Verlander early, if they can do so Detroits bull pen isnt that great with Valverde in there.
