Oakland was riding a big momentum swing a few weeks ago very similar to the present Giants by winning the AL West. Verlander cancelled their World Series dreams in game 5 of that series. What is preventing him from going into San Fransico tonight and throwing a 5 hit shutout or something similar and replicating his lock down performance from a few weeks ago vs Oakland?
emotions... anxiety... tension... stress of winning the first game on the road in a hostile stadium... idk if u have ever played sports but these are key feelings and variables that go into every game... is it the biggest game of his life... pretty close... i mean its really hard to bet against JV n the tigers... but i think with the rest they have had... and the momentum the giants have coming into this game... giants arent going to go down easy.. especially considering the giants have done this recently and won
