I am, again, playing the over tonight as I posted last night for game #1. I am, again, buying the half run and am locked in at Detroit/San Francisco OVER 7.5, +125.

Write Up: Because I said so!

This line screams trap to me.

Giants beat up on the best the Tigers have to offer, dropping 8 during a Verlander start.
Bumgarner has an era over 10 his last 3 starts.

I expected this line to open around 8.5, but it opened at 7 and hasn't flinched even with 65%+ action on the over.

I think Vegas is begging for plays on the over.

I smell a rat here. I'm playing the U7.

I don't play sports based on traps. If you are wagering based on what Vegas is trying to make you think your in trouble. What happened yesterday has no bearing on what happens today. A good wagering tip to follow. Good luck with your bet.

Oh I disagree. I think the ability to recognize a bad/trap line is invaluable in gambling. I think Vegas is masterful when it comes to manipulating the public perception.

It's the old adage; if it seems too good to be true....
One example would be the Tx Tech/WVU game 2 weeks ago when WVU looked unstoppable. That line was 3, but could have been set at 6.5 and WVU would have been bet just as heavily (70%). Putting the line at 3 gave bettors the mindset of "only a field goal? I'm on it!"

And the public was massacred.

At any rate, good luck with your picks tonight. Appreciate all of your insight.

Great take ... respecting the 'line' is crucial in handicapping.

The Tigers will be batting hard........... to win they willl need at least 4 runs in the best scenario... IMO

San Fransisco is very 'turned up' right now. It really makes me think there's some Mark McGwire stuff going on... which means expect hits............ I've never seen them have such a hitting streak as the last few games, all season.... with it being the WS, i don believe it's a coincidence being a former athlete.....

I expect this game to end 7 or 8 ......... going to be a nail biter

Nice insight on the game tonight. BOY do you have alot of time on your hands...I apologize for trying to help people. If you took the time handicapping sports instead of researching all of my posts you would be rich. The funny thing you are prolly wagering on my plays that I post...lol...At any rate GL hater.
