If u were here for Hurricane Irene u better prepare for this one. New Jersey could get slammed equal or worse with flooding and wind damage. No reason not to prepare for this.

I think it is way over-hyped BECAUSE of Irene last year. It's ridiculous people lining up at the grocery store before it opens on Saturday, when the storm is a good 48 hours away.

I'm not going to buy a generator or panic, it probably will just be a healthy rain and windstorm when it gets to southern new england..

About 400 miles inland in WV so I'm not crazy worried...

You have nothing to worry about, that 400 miles of land will kill any hurricane. I'm only a couple of miles from the coast, but on the top of a hill....no flooding worries from me. This thing has maybe a 5% chance of being like Irene, IMO.

Well, see, in Maryland we have lots of trees and they like to fall down and take out powerlines. And we have pepco, and they take a while to get power back up so people want to be prepared

Our local weather is still calling for between 8"-12" of snow for northern West Virginia.

you have a link for that or is it a joke ?

I could see a power outage in Ct , but it ain't gonna snow, that was a 100 year event.

relax people, power was out for a week with Irene, highly unlikely that happens again, and no way possible to get snow and a hurricane together.....and have Romney win the election.
