Fantasy football trade reject/protest question

I see this trade accepted in my 14-team league when i wake up this morning. In this league, RBs are everything because it is PPR and PPC (point per carry)....crazy scoring but lots of rush attempts even with minimal yards can be great:

Team A giving up:
Ben Roethelisberger
LeGarrette Blount

Team B giving up:
Matt Schaub
Isaac Redman

I don't normally care, but two days ago I had this trade rejected that I proposed:

Team A giving up:
Ben Roethelisberger
LeGarrette Blount
Jacob Tamme

Me giving up:
Joe Flacco
Jonathan Dwyer
Rashard Mendenhall

Am i one of those with the "my team is really good" bias or was my trade from two days ago way more appealing to this guy? I don't plan on protesting but what am i missing?

Seem like similar trades, but maybe he likes Schaub better than Flacco?

Yeah Matt Schaub is fools gold in fantasy football. You think he is a high fantasy point producing QB based on the amount of points the Texans score and how easy they move the ball. But when it is all said and done his stat line is usually 250 yards and 1TD a game. You will not notice this until he is on your team though. Look at his career stats and you will swear his numbers were greater. He is the pass happy league generations version of Troy Aikman. The Cowboys used to kill opponents and score tons of points but Aikman's numbers sucked. The same thing with Schaub with guys tossing 300 yard games like nothing this season his high for the season is 290 yards in the game vs the Broncos. He also threw 4 TD's in that game which means in the other six games he is averaging 1 TD a game to bring his TD totals for the year to 10. That is two weeks worth of work for Brady, Rodgers and Brees.

schaub is not on the same level as big ben....especially this year when they have made it clear they are now a run-first team

did i mention how huge RBs are in this league....1 point per carry is crazy...redman is not the same as dwyer or mendy.....

he's probably worried Mendy won't be the same and that Redman will be the man again in a couple of weeks. He also may like Schaub more(I'm guessing he's owned Flacco in previous years but that he has never owned Schaub because they'll both make you want to pull your hair out at times).

BTW- PPC is crazy, the point of having PPR is to try and balance the value of WR's and RB's. I'm surprised there are 14 guys who actually think that is a good idea.

I agree that it is crazy. I'm sorry there are only 12 in this league...my other is 14.

I do not think it is a good idea but I do recognize the advantages and that is why I drafted nothing but rb's the first 4 or 5 rounds......at the 12 pick I had all those rbs plus Turner who I recently traded for miles Austin
