How about a presidential election handicapping contest?

We've had a great number of contests here on this site and I think is a great idea. Given the fervor the election has caused on the forum, it would be interesting to see the predictions and of course, who' s accurate. You can do Bonus Plays or accounts for winners possibly. It could include electoral count and popular vote predictions just as a suggestion. I know it's a bit last minute but I think we can pull it off.

probably too last minute to get a sponsor and entrants involved as polling stations are already open.

The sponsor thing may be a little tough but even if entrants are involved in the election ill tell you that it still doesnt give anyone an undue advantage in the scope of a national election. I have a political campaigning background and as long as theres a cutoff like 6 or 7pm est, I know that wouldnt be an issue. If the sponsor thing can be solved it would be a fair contest.

Typically we prepare for contests days to weeks in advance.

u want to have a contest for bragging rights that will be fine

but doubtful sponsors are going to step in at the last minute and i highly doubt people will enter it in bunches without one...otherwise this thread would have been overloaded with posts

there is plenty of political threads u can sink your teeth into debate wise here though if u wish -
