I was at the local laundromat, sorting out my stuff to prepare to wash, I naturally moved my coat off a chair for a lady looking to sit there, a bit of chit-chat about the storm while I'm sorting my white clothes from the sort of of white to colored, etc. Just nice friendly chat stuff....

She says she wants to bless me....I'm like OK Ma'am, expecting some oral recital.

She gives me a roll of quarters as my blessing ! How very nice. I graciously accept it. She didn't try to recruit me to her church or other stuff like that, she just wanted to make my day better by giving a guy at the laundromat a roll of quarters....she was doing her laundry too, no other customers there at the time.....I think she just picked me to give a gift to.

It's something I'll probably never forget. I had a guy give everybody at the table $100 in Vegas at a BJ table one Christmas, in the form of a Bonus Bet, dude put up a bet of $100 for everybody at the table ....and did so until everybody won, so it was really $200. This was at the Western !

It just goes to show there are people out there that fully understand human decency and what living is all about.

Make it a parlay by making sure you pay it forward to someone else.

Me too, my wife hired a hot maid today! That's as about as kind and random as it gets.

If I'm at a drive thru and a cop car is behind me I always pay for his meal, has to feel good for the officer to pull to the window and be told that an anonymous person paid for their meal and would make them realize there are people that do respect what they do.

Ironic that you post a link to a site for 1 free quarter, and a lady gives you 40 free quarters.

Very cool. Pay it forward.

well one of the quarters was Canadian.....but I'm still shocked to receive this gift. It was planned for the laundromat thus the roll of quarters. Not a busy time, only one other guy ( non-employee) there, he was in the dry cycle.

This lady planned to lay a roll of quarters on somebody at the laundromat, happened to be me. I wouldn't want to spoil her generosity, so I accepted it graciously !

That's gotta be good Karma.....give somebody a roll of quarters at the laundromat.....and kind of ironic since I linked the free quarter as Killa says.

A nice lift to my day , that put me in a good mood !
