im sure we all put full time hours into gambling in some form or another but I doubt many of us are surviving off that alone.

I see some guys at the other site claiming to be 10 to 20k a month on their payout report thread. Smells like BS to me.

of course they do

It's just like any other job. They work hard, put in a ton of hours, and deal with a lot of stress. Its an unorthodox profession but people absolutely do it full time. Not everyone follows the path that society tells us we have to be on

With comps harder to hustle now than a few years ago, only earn about $1.25 per hour on Blackjack, so don't care to put in any hours at that

Sports I can average around $200 per week with little risk whether I work 20 hours or 80, so would be stupid to anything other than weekend gigs

Promotions hustling I'll do whenever I can find them, a few times it's been up to 20 hours in a day, but usually only requires a few minutes to maximize value

You guys are doing Great in the LVH.... That would Help :103631605

yes that would help but I would blow it all in a month trying to be a pro gambler... What I am praying for is to hit top 10 and that would really put me in the game real estate wise...

Tuckman is really the reason we are doing so well. I just make the obvious favorite plays...

That's what I say all the time in Any Contest like that.

I have taken a Piece of the Pie in a few of these Contests, and with my Finish last year in the Hilton... I'm Way a head with Contests.

Baby Steps.... that's all you need to do.
Just don't Choke like I did a couple of years ago in the Leroy's... Tied for 1st place going into the last week, and all I needed to do was go 3-2 to Win... or 2-3 to Tie. Went 1-4 to Finish 3rd. lol ( Still a Piece though )

BOL ! the rest of the way

That's a pretty awesome résumé... What happened in Leroy's? Did you try and be to smart at the end or did bad luck get you??

Sometimes I find myself severely over analyzing a game to the point of obsession. I find its just better to trust the first instinct and go with it

Yep.. I was trying to Over Cap / analyze the games...

Last year ( and I think I talked about this already ) The last week games, Loved GB but everyone and their Mother told me you can't take GB because they weren't playing for anything.
They were Home getting Points... and never Lost a game in GB

I looked, and Looked...Capped, etc.. asked some Sharp guys I know. They all disagreed with me on GB

That Cost me an Extra $10,000 in last years Hilton.. Because I took the Steelers -4 instead ( Push = 1/2 point )

But agree... use your instinct as part of picking games.. IMHO
