Other than that it was 4.5k on a German playoff baseball game, needed to place 65 string bets at pinnacle, around 70€ each because of their limits (RL -1.5 @-105 all the way down to somewhere around -2.5 @-185. Game ended 13-0 by mercy rule, unfortunately nobody offers lines on that crap anymore.
Nowadays usually betting way less, somewhere in between 150-600€.

over 10 yrs ago i ran up 100$ into 33k.

I was so sick and stomach churned that night that the next morning (saturday college football) I set out to get that money back and I actually came very close and won enough to clear 30k that day in the book as a balance (so only 3k off my high point) @)
so I decided it was time to withdrawal some as 30k was a very large amount of money to me..
and the bad beat is.
I found out that not every book actually Pays when u Win..

I wagered $3,500 parlay on OU Sooners win (ML) against West Virginia in a bowl game in 2008 parlayed with a hockey team ML (I can't remember who.) The hockey side won the night before. And I knew I had it. I was counting the $4 to $5 K I was going to get!! Life was good.
