This was a commercial in the 80's for one of the first cell phones

Don't remember this add. For '80's money that's alot of dough to buy that. Who would have thought in today's age it actually got cheaper and better. Back then I remember thinking more tech meant more cost. My oh my how things have changed.

LOL, yeah.. it was pretty cool back then. We're talking 1997.. had it in my MR2 ( miss that Car )
used it more on Speaker phone than holding it to my head. service was AT&T ... which I wouldn't use today if you paid me.

I had AT&T back then...around 1996 for cell phone and MAN WHAT A CUSTOMER HATING CREW they were. I despise that company more than I despise almost any company in the world. Like Betall, if you paid me...I'd have a hard time accepting their service.

AT&T.... corporate mega suck.

I've been w/ AT &T for 20+ yrs..

and YES, Mike, had the whole car phone thing...It was cool at the time..

anyway...

I still have AT &T...and they JUMP threw hoops for me...

I've got all my kids on there, wife....plus..

perks galore...free min, phones, rollovers, change phones inbtwn contracts, coupons for different free stuff

late billing waived (kids)...etc...it goes on and on...

I've ALWAYS been a firm believer be loyal to a product and things will come your way..

They have been SPOT ON for me these past 20+ yrs...

Well, maybe they changed their direction and it would be wise for me to examine that. I'm pretty open to change, but even given my good temperament (in my opinion) it should show a company how much it hurts when they get bad service from customer support.

I agree, Sir

I've walked away from different services as well ..ie..Dish Tv.. Direct Tv..etc..

Some things fit different people for different situations...

I'm a very laid back kinda guy...

I remember those phones I had the bag phone and I thought I was BIG shit with it until the first phone bill came in and it was like $385.00 I just about passed out wondering how I was going to pay the bill. It was like 63 cents a minute or some crazy shit like that.......
