And have even thought of some plot ideas for the rumored seque
movie got not so hot reviews. I liked it.

obvious stupid problem was the back story about how the Sarge may have not done his duty properly in Afganistan. Just dumb stuff. then later he pulls bravery to the point he could be recommended for a bravery medal when he got off the bus to lure away the enemy plane and then destroys it. then there is talk he is somehow responsible for the leutenants death. then when they get to the destroyed Santa Monica airport, despite the fact nearly everyone is deaed and the seargent displayed bravery and kept them alive, the dialaloge is somehow again about questioning his leadership?

made no sense

I liked the movie despite the occasional nonsense dialogue. maybe more killing aliens in the sequel and less stupidity in the "story"

Yes

It is a terrible movie in every aspect - writing, acting, plot, direction.

Flat out awful

Also it gets a 35% from the critics on rotten tomatoes.

And if that wasn't bad enough, it only gets a 49% from the audience, which are WAY more lenient then the critics

yes. I stopped watching it after an hour and now use the dvd as a coaster. Almost as bad as the Transformers.

I liked it for the following reasons.... Lots of action and not lots of talking. Didnt need to pay much attention to what was going on, just war
