I have been looking for a sportsbook for awhile that either takes Mastercard or visa gift cards (US purchases only) but have not found any.

Anyone know of a book that will take either of these?

I registered an an account with (link removed and I noticed that they accept Mastercard for making a deposit. I tried using my MC once and its hassle-free and I got to play instantly. :)

Mastercard has a provision that doesnt allow their card to be used on "gaming" sites. They dont want to be associated with anything that might be illegal. It makes sense on their end. Go to your local currency exchange and get a debit card from them. You add money to it as you go and its a Visa. Its accepted on most of the sportsbook sites.

I use Betonline and they do not accept MC only VISA and rarely they want you to send it to some chiquita in costa rica or panama

Hmmm, that's strange. I think some of the bookies accept Mastercard, though Jefe has the point - Mastercard doesn't want to be associated with any kind of gambling activity. Anyway, it's more convenient to use e-wallets such as Neteller or Skrill, they prove to be both reliable and handy.
