I am looking for the best sports book for betting, lines, and seating to play in while I'm in Vegas. How much do you need to be betting in order to be comped? I am going by myself out there strictly to play during the tournament. Thanks in advance!

Comps for sports gambling are few and far.

Cantor, who runs the sportsbooks in Hard Rock and the Venetian, comp you zippy.

Go to SouthPoint....that is where a few of us stayed last year during March Madness...

I've never seen or heard of a drink ticket, can you take them to the bar? Because I thought drinks are free if you even have a $1 horse bet ticket but you do have to wait for sometime to get it ( depending on how large you tip) but if your looking to get a drink at your leisure these tickets sound good if you can take them to the bar.

Drink tickets usually only work in the sports book. how much you have to spend to get 1 just depends on the venue.

Still confused sorry.....do you give the drink tickets to the waitress ( who I thought served free drinks to any shlub with a bet ticket) or is there a bar in the sports book to take the tickets too, also if the answer is bar in sportsbook, are the tickets for ANY kind of drink?

Maybe you can tell I'm a big drinker and this means a lot to me lol

You can bet a zillion dollars a game at Mandalay Bay and they won't give you a free Bud Light. You can bet a few bucks on a horse though and the bitches will bring you free beers until you can't stand up.

Vegas as a whole is getting cheap.

it depends on the individual book. At the Wynn or Station Casinos, you hand the drink ticket to the cocktail waitress. At the Bellagio, the drinks are free.

Best place to watch the games in the tournament is the Mirage... Never miss it....best atmosphere by far.. You can get drink tokens for every $100 wagered. Or you can go bet a $5 horse ticket and get the tokens ......

You don’t have to place a bet to get a drink at Bellagio. Just show up to the sportsbook, find a chair, and a cocktail waitress will be around to take your order. The Bellagio’s drink policy (they don’t even use tickets) is as lenient as you’ll find along the strip.

Las Vegas Hotel is another book that doesn’t go the drink ticket route. At LVH, you simply need to place a wager (the bet amount doesn’t matter), and then show the ticket to a cocktail waitress. The waitresses come around to both the general seating area and also the adjacent Fan Cave.

South Point began giving away freebies very liberally. You can likely get multiple drink tickets for minimum-sized wagers, in the neighborhood of $10 and $20. If you place a bet and ask for a ticket, there’s a good chance you’ll get one and possibly a couple.

South Point is a great local casino, but it's far off the strip. If you prefer that, they have some great deals.
