Since last week at Thanksgiving? I gained three pounds but had a cold a few days this week and didn't get my daily calisthenics in that has left me a little heavy for me, but I can work it off next week. Many people enjoy the parties this time of year but don't like the side effects of the rich foods. Is there any way to not indulge in the rich foods at these parties or is temptation too much for our taste buds to handle? How many people enter the Holiday Season knowing full well they will gain weight but know that to workout more will be high on the New Years Resolution List? I think eating just one plate of food at any given holiday gathering is the way to go. Sure you could eat more and many times the hostess will encourage you to do so, but having food discipline will pay off when it is time to put on those workout clothes.
