They should cancel the game.

They should cancel the game anyways, but when you are 1-10 and playing someone 3-8 or whatever. Just forfeit and spend time grieving.

what a joke.. why make a statement unless u are gonna do the right thing and postpone the game. seriously i am sure he had friends on the team and even though they are grown men, i am quite sure some will be mourning and questioning why the next few days...not to mention they would want to goto funeral services to support the family.. is that postponed then or?

The only class thing to do is postpone the game. This shows the NFL's true and main and nearly only agenda.....tickets, sales, seats, sales, product, sales....

Postpone the game. Forfeit the game. Class. Humans are more important than the next game.

No, but just let the players have some time to deal with what happened before they play again.

Well I dont think they are going to have the funeral service tomorrow do you? Don't people usually wait a few days or am I off base with this. I dont have an opinion either way, but I bet it will be good for a lot of them to play and take their mind off what happened for a couple of hours

If your Best Friend Killed himself in front of your Father, your telling me, you would go to work the next day? This guy was a Chief for 4 years, saw his team mates almost every day and you expect them to focus on a football game. Oh by the way, this is civilization not WAR.

okay what about a cop? Cop shoots himself and the entire department takes the day off? I am sure the thugs would love that. Sure it sucks but life goes on. He chose to take his life and his family should grieve but you act as NFL teammates are a band of brothers willing to give their lives for each other.

Yea, I would go to work. What would I do at home...sit there and mope? Anyone stay home the day after 911? I dont think so. I work with a whole lot of people, most of them are not my friends, sure I like them, but if one of my coworkers died I'd still go to work the next day. We are not talking funeral here, we're talking life goes on...and it does.
