Every square thinks Bama rolls.

I think ND wins out right. ND will be able to run the ball and Bama will not be able to keep Gholson in the pocket the way they did Murray.

I am thinking like you. Talk about getting no respect. Their D is solid and has been most of the season. I will wait t0 see how high this goes and take a nice ML bet.

Alabama is a far superior team in my opinion. The only chance the Irish has is to pull out some of the Boise State magic and gimmick plays.

There is no way they move the ball on the ground on the Tide defense.

ND run the ball vs Bama??? ND has not seen a D this big and strong all year. Too much talent on Bama and they will push around the ND line like they do to every non-sec squad. Rees will see action at some point in this game after Gholson gets knocked out or ND just can 't move the ball.

Just a warning: Alabama is not as good as most think. They have played 3 good teams and lost one, lucky not all three. If it stays at 7 1/2 or more I'm on the irish.

imo alabama's defense has been exposed three times now (LSU, texas am and georgia).. all u have to do is pass on them downfield and its gonna be difficult except for one of their corners to keep up.. running continuously on them might be a teams downfall....but the outside is sometimes open so the run is definitely important still of course...

if ND can take what LSU (failed to capitalize on) but texas am and georgia was able to expose that D with and use it in their own game plan than this game will be more interesting than most think.. Something tells me Kelly has paid attention <><>

This is shaping up to be my biggest wager ever.
Only problem is I have future wagers on ALABAMA +6.5 to 1 and +7 to 1 to win the title from before the beginning of the season.
I should be hedging, but this game is too good to pass up.

Where did you get such high odds?
This was before the season started.
LSU and USC were both ahead of ALABAMA before the season started to win the title.

Probably true but ND is not that good either.

Alabama is not overrated.
Bama did not get lucky yesterday.
They beat a great football team.
They did not get lucky against LSU either.
They won a football game in the toughest road venue in the world.

Does Bama have a few weaknesses?
Sure they do.

But ND has far more weaknesses then ND.

Bama has played at least 4 teams better then ND this season and won 3 of them.

They are 12-0 but maybe they aren't that good.

If Bama had ND's schedule which game would they have lost?
If ND had Bama's they would have had at least 3 or 4 loses.

Let's just be honest Chop. Alabama is not the Alabama of year's past. This is a good team but not a no kidding "great" team like other years.

Alabama very easily could've been beaten by Stanford, Oklahoma or even USC.

I'm not saying they would've have lost but they are not as good as advertised. I don't know why everyone has such a raging stiffy for the SEC all the time. ND, Stanford, Oregon, KSU, FSU could stick with any SEC team on a neutral field.
