Just drove the Hawks 97 yards to score the go ahead D against a top 5 defense.

Cool and calm.

Loved this kid at NCSU and Wisky. If he were 6'4 he goes in the top 5. he only threw one pick his Fr year at NCSu.

He got hit pretty good in the head and when he went down it sure appeared as if he was out. He did get up and walk off under his own power.

That might be the game that knocked out the Saints playoff hopes.

I know RG3 and Luck have been great this year but this kid is playing lights out. If he helps win them the NFC crown or they make a run in the playoffs, he should be considered for ROY.

2012 will go down as the greatest rookie qb season in NFL history.
Better then 1983.
Perhaps 3 future HOFers at the QB position this season.

I know im making a lot of projections there.
Its possible it will be zero HOFers.

Im just saying all 3 look special.

I'm not just saying this because I'm a huge Seattle fan but with 3:00 to go today, he took them 97 yards against the vaunted Bears D in Chicago and scored the go-ahead TD. Rookies just don't do that and Luck did it as well today.

On a side note, Golden Tate is having a phenomenal year and played great today for the Seahawks.

I also think Weeden has played well and Foles may turn out to be something special in a few years.

Despite all the really good (or decent) rookie QBs, I'd still have a tough time ignoring Doug Martin: I think 2nd most yards from scrimmage behind AP, 3rd most rushing yards, 2nd most rushing TDs (9, tied with Ridley only trailing Foster's 13, plus 1 receiving TDs), 4.7YPC even with guys like Nicks in the OL missing 1/2 of the season.

Totally agree. That guy is a beast and I've enjoyed watching him all year.

Am I the only person not quite sold on this guy yet? He had a fantastic game. But other than this game his overall road stat's aren't that impressive and we all know what the seattle home field advantage can do for a player. To me, he just doesn't pass the eye test. 5'10'' will make it really hard to be successful. I wouldn't be surprised to see him struggle his sophomore year just like cam newton this season.

But with all that said. He had a nearly perfect game yesterday. That was something special and the guy is cool under pressure.

1) He has the #7 overall QB Rating ahead of Ryan, Schaub, Brees, Romo, E Manning, Dalton, Flacco, Cutler, Stafford and Luck.

2) Has thrown more TD passes than Romo, Luck, RGIII, Stafford, Cutler, Manning, Flacco and Newton.

3) Thrown for 2344 yards.

4) Tied for 11th in completion percentage.

We need to stop looking at the guy's height and start looking at his wins, skill and ability.
