70 teams going to a bowl and a 9-3 team that was in the top 25 2 weeks ago is not one of them.

“In consultation with our coach and our university president, we asked Independence Bowl officials for more time to make a decision until we could properly consider all post season options that were available to Louisiana Tech. Unfortunately, we were not afforded that time and the decision was made to rescind the offer.”


They had a bowl game in hand, they figured they would get better and ended up with what they deserve for being greedy.

Im mainly shocked that other bowls didnt see the appeal of this team. With their great offense and crappy defense there was surely an exciting game in the making.
Kind of disappointed as I wanted to see them play.
