I think it reads buy a whopper at reg. price get an original whopper (read plain with nothing) for .55. They however wont have any "original" whoppers since the 1st ones were like 8" around and had 1/2lb of meat. Their slogan used to be It takes 2 hands to handle a Whopper, today it should be 2 Whoppers in each hand.

I was craving something different today after all the Thanksgiving food from a few weeks ago. I had a buy one get one on the Whopper and got two for around $3 bucks. One for lunch and one for later on. Will take advantge of the $.55 Whopper deal later on the week maybe but right now just Whoppered Out.

bk is solely doing this to combat mcdonalds bringing back the mcrib. with the mcrib if you buy the mcrib meal, you can get an extra mcrib for a buck.

smart move, but i dont see it having much effect. the mcrib is a more popular sandwich then the whopper.
