I think Avengers destroyed the Box Office right?
but I dont necessarily rate that the best movie as I am not into the comic movies much.
I will go with a couple movies I thought were good this year.. Safe House, Bourne Legacy, Contraband.. and I will include Hunger Games even though I havent seen it yet.. but I am pretty sure the craze america went through over it, it has to be decent.

well same reason I know that Avengers won the box office.. I just know what movies people were seeing and even I downloaded Hunger Games to watch but never could get myself to actually sit for 2 hrs plus and watch it.. mind u i see tons of movies and shows all the time and that one I also jumped over. heh.. but i have it here to watch in 1080p anytime i wish..
for u to say Safe House is recycled crap and then to list Dark Knight Rises which in effect is recycled movie with a new adaption to storyline/backlog/etc(not crap though) is quite interesting @)
- basically writer made new life/storyline for the characters but he still recycled other people's stuff from year's past just like all the comic book movies.as far as Safe House goes - I personally wasnt listing it number 1.. i was making a random list.. and i only seen it 1 time so maybe after 10 views I might adjust my mind. puff_>>

Murph, I bought the Avengers DVD against my better judgment and I got through 30 minutes before I stopped it. Now I use it as a coaster. That's how bad I thought it was. I hate shows like Transformers and the X-men.
Of all the movies in 2012, The Avengers would come closest to being considered "great".

I will tell you what. Since getting into amazon prime I have learned that the more unheard of and more obscure a movie is it increases the likelihood that the movie will be great.
so I have spent most of 2012 watching obscure movies I never heard of before and I have been surprised to find out there are some damn good movies out there in obscurity
