My brother, sister and myself grew up latchkey kids so during the summertime we used to watch Days Of Our Lives together. We all pretty much continued to watch it until we were into our 30's. My sister and my brother in law still watch DOOL faithfully everyday via the DVR. I have never found it in me to delete the daily recording from my DVR but I pretty much stopped watching the show a couple of years ago. Every Friday I just clear the weekly recordings from my DVR.
The Young And Restless is my soap. My grandmother watched it when she was alive and she got me watching it at an early age. I even have an autograph picture of Melody Thomas Scott who plays Nikki. A friend of mine in high school won a contest one time where she got to go on a date with the guy who plays Danny. One of my favorite characters is John Abbott who appears in spirit form now that he is deceased to give guidance to his son Jack. If they ever bring Sheila back from the dead for the third time, I may just say screw it and stop watching. Well for at least a month or two.
