he won 3 out of 4 only gets credit for this one but what a way to do it. Breaks his nose, spits out the mouth piece so he can breathe, knows he's probably going to get stopped by the doctor and steps up to the place and does the dam thing. I think floyd needs to fight him because after the last two Marquez/Pac fights, he has proven he is not the same that floyd fought.
has nothing else to prove in my opinion. he clearly won 3 of his fights with manny and he was never on floyds level but that is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. i think he has always been underated and i would love for him to go out on top. i think his drive and willingness to fight anyone anytime will get him back in the ring. i hope i am wrong in one sense because i want to think of this fight when i think of marquez but i also kind of hope i am right because i'd love to see him fight again.
There will never be a consensus on the first three Pacquiao-Marquez fights. I had Manny by one point in the last one. Other people had Juan up by a few. More important than nit-picking narrow decisions on judges scorecards, I'm going to remember that these guys ran neck and neck for over forty rounds, giving every fan their money's worth and bringing the best out in each other. They were like the Gatti-Ward struggles, but at the highest level of boxing.
