What do you think?

Its pretty obvious his style of play leaves him open to a lot of hits. He is not like Brady or Manning who duck for cover when a hit is coming. Do you think he will have a long career and stay relatively healthy? or will he be an injury prone, concussion prone QB who may have a shortened career?

Would love some thoughts on this.

Not a chance.

Injuries and teams will figure out next year how to beat him.

Vick couldn't do it and RG3 is smaller, I don't think he ever makes it through a season without missing games, this fascination of the "WOW" quarterback that Edwards likes to talk about is not what wins championships and is why he isn't coaching any longer.

I think Brady and Manning are geniuses to just fall down when they get touched.. Longer career=More $$

i think he will continue to show off his skills for as long as he can.. but hopefully yesterday was not a forshadowing of career or season ending things in the future games to come of his career..

guy is a show to watch but also could be a liability in fantasy sports :):)

i like to think he is a good enough passer that even if not running down-field he can still use his athletic ability to buy time and be effective for years to come

yes, the nfl will keep creating policy that favors qb's even when they are running like rb/wr's.

Still competing - but always injured

Bear with me on this one. Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta suggested early this month the team would consider whether a potential quarterback addition can play multiple roles. McSorley, who was recruited as a safety out of high school, could chip in on special teams and run the same type of offense the Ravens are building for Lamar Jackson. With Robert Griffin III under contract, Baltimore doesn’t need to use resources on a QB. But why not get creative with a late-round selection?

happy to see he is still in the league. i was at the week 17 game vs dallas his rookie season when they clinched the nfc east and went to the playoffs. he was clearly injured and anyone who cared about his future likely would have pulled him from the game. he gave his all for the team and unfortunately injuries cost him but hard to hate a guy who sacrificed his body for the team and winning.

I thought RG3 would be a star.

Now my new philosophy is (after RG3 got hurt) once a STUD "run first" QB gets injured, they never come back the same and they become very very average

How could you possibly think he would be a star?

Just amazing. All of the greats basically are close or about the same and have these characteristics

1. White
2. Pocket passer
3. Tall (Brees the exception)
4. Accurate
5. Good decision maker ( Favre and Elway the exceptions)
6. Footwork ( Favre again)
7. Smart ( Ben R. the exception although hes not an all-timer). Prob a couple others too.

When has a run first fast qb ever worked???? If you notice, very very few black qbs actually play past 30.
