lol nah at vs marquez.. i think he should build his current resume up again.. 2-3 fights in the next year and somehow setup challenge with mayweather now that he has nothing to lose and money wont be coming in crazily.

I dont believe fighting Mayweather will ever happen.....

This is my thought as well. If it does happen, it will probably be when they are both ready to retire and looking for one last payday. A real shame that it hasn't already happened.

i really hope its not marquez 5. If you watch all 4 fights I saw it at worst 3-0-1 Marquez. I really don't need to watch it again. As far as who Manny can fight I don't see a lot of intriguing fights at welterweight. There's three fights I'd like to see him in. I think him and Guerrero would be an interesting fight. I don't think it's that realistic because Guerrero has been positioning himself for Mayweather. Assuming Mayweather doesn't fight Canelo I think we see him and Guerrero in the spring. Personally I'd love to see Manny/Josesito Lopez but I don't see that happening either. I'd also like to see him and Danny Garcia in a non-title fight. My best guess at who he actually fights is Paulie M. Manny needs a safe fight that he can dominate. Paulie gives him that and Paulie has probably been the most outspoken fighter about Manny's steroid use. Manny is only 33 and I think he has a lot left in the tank. If he loses his next fight regardless of who it is with I think that's a wrap for him.

You might be right. I think Marquez got screwed for sure on #3.
I wouldnt mind watching them fight again simply just for the entertainment. All their fights have been pretty close and very entertaining. Boxing these days doesnt have too many good rivalries like this one

Manny never had and never will have the skill to beat Floyd....

too bad Floyd didnt think so.... Could of been added to one of the all time greatest fights, if it lived up to the hype.
Right up there with Rumble in the Jungle, Ali Frazier, Leonard Hearns, Hagler Hearns

Absolutely, boxing really needed it. Shame it didn't happen.
