overrated, system QB, no longer elite, just very good, tired of hearing his name...........................................

it just doesn't make any sense to me

you want to bet against him that's fine, everybody loses, but some of the reasons for doing so are kinda silly

impressive indeed...

I'm a Peyton > Brady guy, but it doesn't mean I don't think Brady is special and definitely one of the best ever

He got cracked a couple times tonight and still had great numbers... impressive

Who says that. If you were saying that about Bellichek, I would agree. Brady is the entire reason why Kraft's team has the value it does. Tom Brady is the MVP of the entire league every year, he is the MJ of football.

I agree brady is stellar and definitely best qb in the league currently.. without him on the pats they would be less than 8-8 I am quite sure every year.

I ask myself the same question every time I bet against him... For some reason I feel like new England lines are always inflated so when I do bet new England games I always go the other side... Been doing the same betting against sf this year too but those pricks always cover the big number too when I fade them... Note to self, stop fading good teams at home!

I actually thought that the sissy rules that the NFL were implementing over the last few years were to specifically protect Tom Brady...Come on with this Manning>Brady fantasy. Shit, Manning's goofy little brother has got more game than him...ok, ok, I am kidding, rings do not trump obvious talent...

Bigtendominator, the people who say that kinda stuff can be found throughout this and other forums. The WWW gives everybody a voice :)

Murph, they went 11-5 when Brady missed the entire season after getting hurt on his 1st series of the year.

camy, the rules were changed when the Colts complained to the NFL about how the Pats used to rough up their wide receivers, so if the rules were changed for anybody, it would be Peyton. Belichick and the Pats adjusted, then went from running and defense to airing it out.

treece, you may be right, it looks as if the Texans may be overrated based on their two games vs GB & NE

Pats ATS:

2012: 8-4-1
2011: 9-7
2010: 10-5-1
2009: 8-7-1
2008: 9-7
2007: 10-6

just not a good idea to fade them on a regular basis (although they are 1-4 in the SB)

Don't agree at all. Think Manning is the best but this is always the debate.

Not sure why everyone seems to forget the colts whining after getting spanked by the pats for years and getting rules changed. Media refuses to ever criticize manning.

Jesus some of you idiots are so fuckin clueless I feel sorry for you.
Drew brees , peyton, Eli, Aaron have all had better years than Brady over the last ten years. But nobody has been consistently good as Brady over the last ten years. Tom Brady has had, effectivley, ten full playing years and has led his team to five super bowls in those ten years. There are franchises that haven't played in 5 playoff games in the last 20 years.
If they happen to go to the super bowl again this year. Tom Brady will have the all time record for super bowl appearances for a QB (6)..and that would be 6 SB in in 11 years. Most fans of other franchises in some cities would be in heaven if their team just made a wild card appearance 6 times in 11 years.

If they go to the SB this year, I hope they are playing the Giants again!
