I got the following page when I tried to launch the program:

http://www.sportsoptions.com/nojava.html

I successfully downloaded Java, updated to the latest version 7, update 10 and restarted my PC. I still get the same page popping up that I need to install Java and cannot use your program. Any ideas?

I think I have it Murph. It was a disabled plugin. I'm looking it over now.

Thanks Murph.

Really enjoying using SO so far! And the more I discover and tinker around with the features that are available the more I like it.

Question: I'm trying to remove ingame lines so I can have CBB directly beneath NBA. I figured out how to deselect these lines, however the page will not expand far enough to the right in order to save the update. Even the instructions are cut off.

I did that Murph. Still no starting times with games.

Also the issue in post #7 is, when I click to set up tabs and uncheck all the props and in game lines I cannot apply these changes because the button to save them is not visible. Beneath the red X in the upper right corner to close the page the instructions are cut off. You can tell there's more on the right but can't get to it. Here is exactly how my instructions read:
"Tabs can display either individual or groups of leagues. For exa[rest cut off]
with all football related etc......." It just cuts off. Anyone else have this issue?

Murph thanks for all the help. I'm sure most will second that you're indispensable to this site.

I'll have to try your recommendation tomorrow or Sunday. Time to get set up for tonight's action, then my DJ gig from 9-2AM, 3 hours of handicapping, 3 hours of sleep, and 3 more hours of handicapping.
Oh, is that why my nerves are so frazzled?

Murph let me try to explain the Tab set-up problem to you one more time. I am deselecting the in-game stuff, series prices, etc. Now unlike the 'column' set-up where there are buttons for help, apply, save, and cancel, in the 'tab' set-up there is ONLY a help button. I can see that the other buttons are to the right. I just can't get to them in the tab section because the page WILL NOT expand to the right and there is no scroll bar at the bottom. So I can not save my selections! Maximizing the screen does nothing. I hope this is enough info for you. If not I'll try a screenshot again later.

Also, another issue. When I lower the volume on the sound alerts it goes back to default volume regardless of how far I move it to the left. I want to hear the steam plays, just not so loudly.

I still cant replicate your problem with not seeing save on my end.. BUT try using Tab to get over to the selection (that you believe is save ) and then hit space bar.. this will be the same as using a mouse to click on save (if it works).

as far as the sound.. if u have windows 7 they have a pretty good sound differentiation when you click on the volume icon in bottom right of your task bar.... open all the sounds with the scroll bars and turn the SportsOptions one to the level you want.. windows 7 will remember that for you. I have not tested if S.O does it (remembers) with the method you are using.. but it is supposed to I am sure if you use Apply and then Save.

I am sure Rick can be of more help with these things if he can duplicate your scenario/issues ... my suggestion for the other is to definitely show a screenshot so we can try and figure out the problem.

I have a little soundbyte I play when I DJ in which a computerized voice says, "You are watching a master at work."

I again today bear witness to your mastery - problem resolved!
