Yeah with Sheed, Novak and JR Smith they will always shoot a million 3s. That's my only concern. I think Miami's defense would shut them down in a 7 game series... Well not even just Miami.. Chicago and Boston both play strong perimeter D

Wow 70 points in one half. Lakers were trying to get it to under 10 but Knicks caught another gear and gained more distance going into the half.

They aren't the real deal at all. They live and die by the three and play no defense. That will be in their end in the playoffs

Says the donk who claims that Kobe Bryant is "absolutely a better scorer than Michael Jordan"

You've lost any trace of credibility you might have had left on here

Let it go jackass im entitled to my opinion. You lose your credibility on here daily with your profanities and insults. Im sure they give you a lot of respect among the posters.

As for the knicks, talk to me come playoff time when they get knocked out earlt by a team that plays well rounded ball.
We all know Carmelo s history of success in the postseason.

Knicks would get whipped in a 7-game series by the Thunder, Spurs, and Grizzlies.

take grizz out and I would more than likely agree. Grizz might be just as over rated as ny ... keep in mind though guys a lot of these teams play under their potential this early and pickup after xmas and then in playoffs they play like legends.. lots of 60 game win teams make it no where in playoffs

Grizz with Allen guarding the perimeter and Gay/Z-Bo/Gasol are not overrated. That's a solid team. If Gay could become a top 8 NBA scorer they'd be arguably the best TEAM in the NBA, imo.

And I'm entitled to laugh my ass off at your opinion, and point out how ridiculous it is.

BTW, I didn't make a prediction on how far the Knicks will go in the playoffs.

Haha then what does the "real deal" mean?

Allow me to laugh at the absurdity of you saying the knicks are the real deal and then hedging your bet. You might not agree with my opinions but at least I stand behind them. You just lost your last ounce of respect.

Hedging my bet? You love to put words in people's mouths don't you? I stand by everything I said. If you can't comprehend, please reread

Just so we all understand you correctly, you are saying the knicks are the "real deal" but won't go far in the playoffs?

[h=2]Carmelo Anthony's playoff record is NBA's worst in 20 years[/h]

This postseason obviously hasn't worked out the way the New York Knicks thought it might, what with Jeremy Lin being hurt and Amar'e Stoudemire going all Jack the Ripper on himself.Their 13th consecutive playoff defeat last night gave them an unwanted NBA record, and it likely will grow to 14 when Miami gets its chance to sweep on Sunday.
ANALYSIS: Heat own the Knicks
But lost amid the Knicks' swoon is that Carmelo Anthony has been setting an individual record for postseason futility. TheWall Street Journal noted after New York's first loss in the series that it was Anthony's 50th career playoff game, and that he had the worst won-loss percentage of anyone to make that many postseason appearances in the last 20 years.
Since then, Anthony has been in two more playoff defeats, leaving him with a 16-36 (.308) career record.
Anthony is the only bona fide superstar among the worst 10 playoff winning percentages, which of course is largely due to the so-so crew he played with in Denver. But unless New York comes up with a miracle his team will have been bounced out of the playoffs in the first round in eight of the last nine seasons.
But Anthony's descent has fueled Shane Battier's rise. Battier had ranked sixth on the list (which was compiled by Stats LLC), but as a member of the Heat he's now only ninth. A win on Sunday likely would remove him from the worst 10.
Here's the list:
1. Carmelo Anthony, 16-36, .308
2. Mookie Blaylock, 18-36, .333
3. Eduardo Najera, 20-39, .339
4. Chris Dudley, 20-34, .370
5. Brad Miller, 19-31, .380
6. Anthony Peeler, 22-35, .386
7. Marcus Camby, 30-46, .395
8. Stacey Augmon, 31-46, .403
9. Shane Battier, 22-32, .407
10. Tyron Corbin, 28-40, .412

Too early to say, we'll see how they look when Amare comes back. Do you think you're actually making some kind of point with your lame rhetoric?

The Knicks are vastly improved from previous years. They will create problems for the elite teams in the East. Fact.

If it's too early to say that, maybe it's too early to say they are the real deal?
