I was reading somewhere that the Chargers put their tickets on Groupon. Well guess what? It didn't help as for the 3rd home game in a row, the Chargers didn't sell out.

Now I don't understand why this non-sellout is different than the others, but for some reason WE'RE ONLY GETTING ONE GAME THIS WEEKEND!!!! This hasn't happened any other time the Chargers didn't sell out. Thankfully, I have the Red Zone channel so it won't matter to me, but how can they only give us one game? At least it's a decent game. Pitt-Dallas.

That happens sometimes Bag. It's the tv schedule. Sometimes there will be two games on at 1 and 1 at 4 or vice versa.

if spanos had fired turner after the denver game,.....

None of these would be blacked out......

majority of fans disliked turner from the start......

& now after 6 yrs......They cannot fill the stadium......

there will be somewhere between 45-50,000 there,.....& plenty of Carolina fans

it was the general manager,....aj smith.....

he hired turner,....

&

yr after yr.....

convinced spanos that turner was the man to lead 'em,......

smith should be fired along w/turner.......

he took the best era in charger history & handed it to a losing coach like turner......

no one has ever done 'less w/more' than turner

i think its slim to none,.....

only way it happens is for the spanos family to give up control of the team to new owners.....

do not see that,.....

since dean spanos' son is the future general mgr.......

I think new ownership would be good for the team......but just cannot see 'em selling

what are the chances the Chargers relocate to LA?

I think it's a certainty, especially with them not selling out any longer. We would see that once in a blue moon out here, but now this is three games in a row.

The league wants a team in LA....even though the fans of LA aren't interested UNLESS they bring the Raiders back....and it most likely will be the Chargers. Spanos won't build a new stadium, and the city won't build it for them. LA is more than willing to build a new stadium somewhere, and Charger fans won't have that long a ride if they still want to be fans of the Chargers.

Chargers wouldn't sell out in LA either. LA is a horrible NFL market.

http://losangelesrams.org/about/myths.html

"The Los Angeles Rams led the NFL in attendance 11 times in franchise history, spent a majority of their time in the top 5, and averaged well over the NFL average during their stay in the City of Angels. The television ratings were also significantly higher when the Rams were in Los Angeles as opposed to ratings of random teams (including the Raiders) on television in Southern California during the previous 16 seasons. The Rams were at one point the pride and joy of Los Angeles and they had a very large following both when they played at the Coliseum and Anaheim Stadium."

any move to los angeles would require the spanos family to sell a majority stake in the team,.....

that is what killed it the 1st time......

that family will not sell......

i do not see 'em moving to l.a.....

the moves in a few weeks will set the tone for next yr......

once turner & smith are fired......The Chargers will see their fan base return......

they have core players...... that are set to become a dominant defense.....& they still have Rivers.....

turner is the reason for the unsold tix,....

& all that changes next yr
